This is a very difficult decision, and one we’ve made thoughtfully with her best interest in mind. We’re looking for the right home for our approximately 1-year-old Chihuahua mix.
She is a sweet, smart, affectionate girl who loves being near her people and enjoys companionship. She is gentle and friendly, and does well with kids, cats, and other dogs. She has a loving personality and enjoys cuddling, playing, and being part of the family. She’s smart and eager to please. She is very tiny, only 7.5lbs.
We want to be completely transparent: she does have ongoing potty-training challenges. We believe this is likely anxiety- or stress-related, which can be common in sensitive breeds like Chihuahua mixes. She would do best in a calm, consistent environment with someone who is patient, experienced, and able to continue working with her using positive reinforcement and routine.
She may thrive best in:
• A quiet, low-stress home
• An owner who is home often
• A consistent daily routine
• A home with easy outdoor access
She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and will come with her crate, bed, toys, bowls, food, and all of her supplies to help make the transition easier.
Our goal is to find her a loving home where she can feel secure and supported and have the opportunity to succeed. If you believe you could be a good fit and are open to working with her needs, please reach out. We’re happy to answer questions and want this to be a thoughtful and loving transition for her.
