Maya’s story is heartbreaking, but also full of love.

Her previous family adored her deeply, and making the decision to surrender her was one of the hardest choices they ever had to make. Due to unexpected personal circumstances completely outside of Maya’s control, they could no longer give her the time and stability she deserved. This was absolutely not her fault.

Even through the transition, Maya has remained gentle, trusting, and full of love. She still greets people with a wagging tail, still leans in for affection, and still believes her forever family is out there waiting for her.

Now all Maya needs is someone willing to give her the second chance she deserves. A home where she’ll never have to wonder if she’s staying. A family who will love her as deeply as she loves them.
